Domestic Short Hair-black & white & tuxedo mix
Gilly is a one and half year old black and white short hair tuxedo cat with an unusual but adorable mustache under her nose with huge bright round eyes that take up most of her face. Gilly is young, curious, slight, and very kittenish.
She was rescued into the shelter with three kittens who were less than one week old at the time. She is small and very young herself. She is in excellent health and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
Gilly was in foster care and this is how her foster care person described her:
She loves attention. She does not like to be held, but does enjoy curling up on your lap. She was in foster care with two medium size dogs, who run away from her. She has learned to tolerate the dogs, but is not happy with them. She is very playful and enjoys playing with toys and loves watching the birds and squirrels from a window. When she is tired, she curls up and sleeps for long periods of time.
Gilly was brought into the shelter for adoption. She has adjusted really well. The volunteers hold her without a problem. She comes out of her cage to exercise with some of the cats, but is cautious. She would like to be the only princess in the house or might do fine in a home with one other laid-back cat.
She would be a wonderful companion because of her chipper personality.
All her kittens were placed in fabulous homes. Now it is time for Gilly to be placed in a fabulous forever home. She deserves it.
Gilly is up to date with routine shots, house trained and spayed.
