Butter Bean and Butter Ball

Domestic Short Hair–black & white
Size: Medium
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Butter Ball and Butter Bean are sisters about two years old. Butter Bean is a black and white short-hair cat with big round eyes. She is in excellent health and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She has a cute pink nose with two small black spots on each side. Butter Ball is a sweetie, in excellent health, and loves to be petted.

These two cats had quite a back story and have been through quite an ordeal. They lived with a gentleman who was evicted from his apartment — literally thrown out on the street with his three cats. Somebody called the authorities to rescue the cats. They were found in plastic bags. We were told the poor man, who had a leg amputated, loved his cats, but had no choice to give them up. They are in a safe place now.

Butter Bean is scared. You can’t blame her after what she went through, but wants to be loved. It is taking her a little longer to adjust. It will come. Butter Ball is very sweet and more receptive, but a little scared. They do not have to be placed together, but it would have been nice. You never know what life has in store and special people will come into the shelter and give the girls a forever home. It takes time, love, and patience. It would be a blessing for them to be in a home.

Butter Bean and Butter Ball are up to date with routine shots, house trained and spayed.
