Adoption Fees: Please note that these fees do not cover all of our costs. The vet hospital has gone up in price and we are forced to go up in price also. For a spayed or neutered cat or kitten we ask $140, and for two cats we ask $240 (which includes shots for rabies, distemper, spaying or neutering and testing for FIV and FeLV). A senior cat eight years old and up is $65.

Our costs have changed for kittens who have not been spayed or neutered. For one kitten we must charge you $110 and a deposit of $100 that will be refunded after the kitten is spayed or neutered (you must bring in the paperwork after the procedure has been done). For two kittens unspayed and unneutered we ask $180 with a $100 deposit for each kitten, which will be refunded when you bring in the paperwork after the procedure. For three kittens, there’s a charge of $240 and a deposit of $300. Their first distemper shot would be included.

In short, for unspayed and unneutered kittens:
One kitten: $110 and a $100 refundable deposit
Two kittens: $180 and $200 refundable deposit
Three kittens: $240 and $300 refundable deposit

Please note:  We ask all adopters to show a current driver’s license for identification purposes. If you own a home, we ask to see a copy of a tax bill confirming ownership. If you rent, we must have written permission from your landlord that animals are allowed on the premises. We are exercising due diligence for the welfare of our animals and hope this won’t make the adoption process too onerous.

Also: If you are going to adopt from us and you have a dog, you have to bring in the dog license to show us.

If you do not get a response with 48 hours, you should call the shelter (781 631-8664) or write again to make sure that your application was received.

We’ll be in touch. Thanks!
